Q. Do you just do birthday displays?A. We celebrate many occasions besides birthdays. Other popular events are new birth announcements, anniversaries, proposals, retirements, holidays, and graduations. Let us customize a yard display to complement your message- pink plastic flamingos are only one of the many themes we have available. Any theme can be mixed for a more personalized display, such as Hearts and Gamecocks for a South Carolina fan or Smiley Faces and Flamingos for a get-well soon message!Q. How much does it cost to be Flamingoed?A. The standard display is $70 for 40 flamingos or 30 larger critters, a "You've Been Flamingoed" sign and a 2-sided personalized message sign. We will take a digital photo of your lawn greeting and e-mail it to up to 10 addresses for an additional $5. It costs about the same as sending flowers, but the impact lasts much longer!Q. Should I order the same number of flamingos as the person's age?A. You can order the flamingos or other critters in your lawn greeting to match the person's age, but we recommend going with the standard yard displays listed. It is more important to have a full, eye-catching display than to count critters!Q. When do you deliver and pick up the displays?A. We deliver the lawn displays between midnight and 6:00 a.m., guaranteed. Other delivery times can be arranged. We pick up the lawn displays between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. that evening. Later pickups can be arranged. Additional days can be purchased for $20, based on availability.Q. Is a message sign included with my yard display?A. Yes, a sign that's 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide is included with your yard display. The sign has 7 lines for your message, and each line can hold a maximum of 12 letters or numbers, including spaces, for a total of 84. We have sample phrases to choose from, or you can come up with your own phrase. We can also include a personal message on the back of the sign, facing the house. We have a number of messages for any Occasion to match the lawn theme you have selected- flamingos, gamecocks, hearts, swans, smiley faces, or rubber duckies!Q. Do you deliver to offices?A. Yes! It is a fun way to share a special day with your co-workers. We can set up a yard display outside the building (you must obtain permission first) or in a person's office or cubicle. This takes some careful planning, so call us to discuss.Q. How far in advance do I need to order my lawn greeting?A. We can perform a same-day or next-day delivery if needed, but normally give us at least a week's notice to ensure we have the yard theme of your choice available.Q. Where do you deliver?A. We deliver to the Columbia, West Columbia, Cayce, Irmo, Chapin, Lexington, South Carolina areas. If you are outside of this delivery area, we offer a 2-day do-it-yourself rental.Q. Do you deliver in bad weather?A. Yes, we deliver in most weather conditions. We do reserve the right to cancel a yard display if we feel the delivery would be a danger to the delivery person. In those cases, we will contact you to reschedule or refund your fees.Q. Do you deliver every day of the week?A. Yes, 7 days and nights.Q. Can I purchase a plastic flamingo to keep?A. Of course! We charge $5 for each pink flamingo not returned. Keep one (or a pair) and sign and date them. Other critters are also available for an additional charge.Q. How do I place my order?A. We take most orders over the phone. You can pay online by major credit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and Carte Blanche. You can mail a cashier's check or money order or with a 2-week advance order, you can pay by personal check. Orders must be paid in advance - we can't pick up your payment at time of delivery. We are available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. |
